The only man who can pull this off is Sean Connery.

And a Saxon from Locksley!

... yes, that's Audrey Hepburn.

His son Jason took over from Michael Praed as Robin in the young Robin Hood series (Robin of Sherwood?) in the early 1980s! Praed, in middle:

Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner can't hold a candle to them, to Patrick Bergin, Errol Flynn, Cary Elwes/hossoso or an animated fox!!!!

They went a totally different route from the original idea. Was going to be titled Nottingham or some such and Crowe was going to play the sheriff, but not the mean bastard sheriff we all know, but a kinder one who was just doing his job or something like that lol.

Apparently Crowe was originally supposed to play both Robin and the Sheriff (?) but Scott changed is mind along the way back to the classical story and now it's Kingdom of Gladiator.

New trailer (no more rock/metal background, yeeee)

No wonder you live in a basement. There isn't a closet on Earth that could hold you.

Not surprising, everything is about origin stories now. Was it any good?

Best TV drama ever! The switch between Praed and Connery tying up the 2 different origin stories was really well done too.
