Picked up a RT trim dress shirt for ~$30 from Marshalls outlet. It is definitely a much slimmer fit than the regular RT shirt, which requires tailoring to fit me properly.

The trim fit is by no means perfect; the arm holes are slightly baggy, the sleeves are slightly longer than indicated by the size and the body could be slimmed down if you're looking for a very slim fit (I'm happy with this fit), but the fabric feels of very high quality and is an absolute pleasure against the skin. For ~$30 I think it is a nice bargain.

are you talking about the Chelsea line? Those are very nice RTW shirts... Retail for around 135, but a great deal when found sub 50 bucks.

I had a problem with RT shirts being much larger in the collar (1/2-3/4" or so) than marked. Has anyone else?

They always seem to have great fabrics. But with a fuller cut, all around, the collars being big (even with MTM), I avoid them. It should be interesting to see if it will change now that they have a new President. He was the head of Zegna in the US for many years according to the DNR website. It would be great if he could head them in a more fashionable direction regarding fit. I think they would increase their appeal, IMO.
