Really comfortable, similar last I’d think as they are a lot slimmer than they appear online.
These have a dainite type sole but some of them have the same sole as the Gardener which is slightly firmer.
They’re a rough out suede too although they look to have a normal suede nap.

Woah, I didn't know RMW did a Dainite style sole! I had only seen the Gardener ones. But I also know the current Rickaby range are all made in Australia so I wonder if that's the distinction, the overseas RM stuff uses a Dainite style that RM don't source themselves. Just a guess.

It looks good though. I still feel they should be putting the comfort poron insole in the Rickaby...

If I read correctly, the MTO program is only in-store?

I tried on a 8.5 X Tambo today. Felt pretty good, perhaps that would have been a better boot for my fat foot ;)

Hey guys
I got my self ian harlod boots after a failed try with RMW Tambo. It's size is equivalent to H sizes in RMW and the boots are really nice but after I tried it yesterday at work i found the right side really tight on the instep. My toes touch the toe box but not a problem.
It's really painful now having the boots on specially the right side. I asked the shop for replacement and they said as I wore it for one day.

Now, will it really stretch to be at the state where it is not painful any more?
I guess i should have gone half size larger to give more toe room and a more width but I tried it few minutes at home and it was fine and I was too excited to wait another day.

I know this is not related to RMW but I hope you can give me some advise

So an update on that bone suede pair I ordered in November that turned up with the wrong elastics and soles and sent back in the first week of January to get repaired. I have been chasing them a couple of times a week since then and just got an e-mail today to say that they have "located" my boots (So they lost them for 20 days even though I dropped them in to the factory front desk) but have decided to instead make me a new pair instead of relasting the old pair.

So... stay tuned for longer, I guess. They are at least polite when they do reply, and I am trying to stay friendly also but this is baffling. Do they do this for MTO orders!?

Do these fit TTS? I am a 11.5 US typically so could work for me. What is asking price? Thanks

Yep they do. Unfortunately a little too small for my size 12 feet.

Let me know if anyone has any questions

Are these vertical marks considered normal? These are store-bought craftsmen worn about 20 times. Conditioned and polished with RM products. They are only on the left toe. I think this kind of issue was discussed earlier?

After going back and forth about sizing I popped into the RM Williams in NYC this week while I’m here for work. I tried on a 9H and they fit like a glove. They were fantastic and let me swap out my 8.5g CC in rum bc I haven’t been able to wear them bc the toe room was non existent, even though they were purchased in Auckland. Excellent customer service w Jacky. Also had a few odd sizes and colors on sale. Picked up these light olive CC for half off and wore them out of the store and walked 10 miles through the city—with the other size couldn’t make it though the day before my feet hurt.
TLDR: should fit like a glove from the start — especially In the toes

I recently visited the Austin shop. Some good half off deals but nothing in H. What impressed me most was the kangaroo leather craftsman.
