They've been trying to add some more upscale shoes for their endless.com site. They had some RLPL made by EG last year.

Judging by the ghost stitching, looks like Sutor. Sole does too, other than the lack of blue paint, but I would think that's too garish for RLPL.

Lately Amazon has been slapping the Black Label description on several RL items that aren't actually BL. I think it's just boilerplate being plopped down by someone who doesn't know better. That said, I'm not clear why these are necessarily representative of Purple Label, either. The RL stuff at Amazon has been independent of the C&J/EG stuff Ralph sells for some time now, right? What suggests these are actual PL and not just the type of expensive/upscale shoes Endless wanted?

Because this looks just like the stuff I saw at the Mansion when I started this thread.

These are definitely the Italian RLPLs.

Talked to the mansion people about this, they are indeed RLPL. The distinction in shoes is especially hazy, but given the price point, I think it's fairly clear regardless. They had these same models on display in the PL room with the fireplace.

This sucks because I still need a pair of C&J & Grenson & am already at nine. AND, after seeing the RLPL offerings in person at the mansion, I foresee switching all non-EG/RL shoes out.

lol, I had to email my GF this post. Why can't woman understand that you can NEVER have enough suits or nice shoes. Especially when there are so many great deals out there to be had!
