You decide. Which model do you prefer and why? In my case, I will be wearing either of these shoes with jeans mostly, the occasional pair of trousers and very rarely a suit. obviously ucbd rules do not apply here. my inclination is the grants as i feel they might be more versatile, but i'd love to hear your opinions.

Grants. Mackays are mouch more of a traditional, conservative business shoe, which is not what you want.

i tend to agree grimslade. i think if both shoes are in dark oak, the grant is a more versatile shoe. but i think the mackay in edwardian might be able to be dressed up or down more much than its dark oak version due to its color. would you agree?

i think the reason i started this thread was coming across the old mackay vs barksdale thread. the op bought both shoes in dark oak and was trying to decide between the two. in fact in his pics, he was wearing jeans and versatility from casual to dressy was a major issue. still, many people picked the mackay.
