Damn, is it worth the price. I was at RL today getting fitted for my second RLBL that I got for $340. I was chatting with the SA and he told me the biggest sale he made was 3 RLPL custom made 180s at 9K a pop. It was for some hard to fit guy in a size 50R or something.

They sent the measurements to Italy for the custom made suit - hell that sounds like ordering a suit online via the internet. In addition a custom made RLPL shirt goes for $600.

Damn, it made me feel like a cheap skate asking when the RLBL blazers would go on sale.

unfortunately, to some people, $9000 is like $9 to us. I'm not sure if he's so stupid, unless he's a bum from family money.

it could be worse, like a $45K Brioni, or some insane Kiton.

If I was spending 9K x 3 I'd definately look somewhere else. You could get some very nice full custom stuff.

Perhaps Ruth Madoff posing as a man in a fat suit.

I think this notion of SF-branded ultimate knowledge is ridiculous. Calling a person an idiot because he pays $9k for a RLPL suit is like me labeling you guys complete marsupials because you pay more than $15 for a custom made shirt.
