I am in need of a blue blazer (in know the blue part is redundant) I am looking to grab something rather nice as it will get a decent amount of use.

I have seen a few RLPL blazers I like and I am wondering what a good price for them would be? Also how slim do these fit as I haven;t been able to try on the size I believe I will need.

having bought 6 RLBL/RLPL in the last 30 days here's what I can tell you: Presuming NWT on closeout/ebay: Blue Label: $150-$250 is a good price Purple Label: $250-$450 is a good price About fit: I wouldn't call them slim necessarily. The arms seems a little narrow relative to the size (I's a 42R in most RL stuff) in some of the cuts around the biceps.

Anything less than 1/3 of retail is good price.
Less than 1/4 is truly excellent.

Puple Label seems to vary in fit in their blazers. I have a navy cotton blazer and its a 38R and very very slim. I tried on a navy cashmere/wool blend with patch pockets and brass buttons a few weeks ago in 38R and it was much fuller in terms of fit. Purple Label shirts are also quite bulky compared to Black Label in the same size. Due to what seems to be inconsistent sizing between different fabrics/suits in Purple Label I've learned not to buy it online without trying it on in store first. Although the sizes range, if its a really good deal online you might as well pick it up because even if its not spot on in terms of fit its still worth it to get the garment and then take it to a tailor.
