Hi everybody,

I'm thinking of picking up a Daniel model SC, but wanted to know if anybody can enlighten me on the fit, as compared to the Anthony.

I know the Daniel has a softer shoulder, but is it trimmer overall? Does it require sizing up when compared to Anth?

I have found the Anthony to be a little less trim than the other cuts.

Black label sale is happening in June, I believe. Not sure if the coat you want will be on sale. I think the only non sale items are the traditional wool sc's.

That's interesting. I'm think of picking one up from ebay, but the measurements seem very different from the Anthony. I may have to size up to an L from an R.

Do you know if any of the suits will be on sale? I realize that the solid suits probably won't be, but perhaps the patterned ones will be?

The anthony fits me best and I have a 9 inch drop. Maybe it's the linen cut? It's tight, but the 40 seems to work after letting out the armholes about a half inch.

I will likely be cruising by the Boston store this weekend to pick up a few items. Do you have some time, or is the sale ending soon? PM me, I will try on a Daniel when I am there.

I was told the items that would not be on sale are, as you mentioned, solids and staple items (wool blazers, etc)

I cannot guarantee patterns will be on sale, I do know linens will be included. It seems logical to assume that patterns will also be involved.
