I recently purchased this suit via mail order, and would like to hear your input. My feeling is that the suit is too tight....

Alteration or return? Please critique.

It appears to be a little tight. I always have to go up one size in the RLBL suits.

It's tight through the waist, but taking it out an inch and a half, total, shouldn't be a problem. If you size up, the shoulders won't fit.

What is up with all Black Label suits?Almost every single picture posted here has a problem in the jacket collar. Is it because it is very slim and all these people don't have the body for it?

The pinstripe suits have been on sale for 559 which, imo, is a deal if you fit into one properly.

I agree it appears to be a little tight. I don't think the next size up would work for you though. (The shoulders and chest fit relatively well IMHO.) I'd recommend you have a good tailor let out some points. Also, consider that the RLBL silhouette just isn't right for you. I'd steer you towards PRL.

I don't think there is that much to take out of the side seams.

I agree with this completely. You could, instead, drop 5 lbs.

Chest and should is a good fit but too tight around the waist. You can let it out but it will change the look of the suit.

Dropping 5lbs would put me in the skeletor range, which i'm not comfortable with. I weigh 150lbs standing at 5'10''.... I do appreciate your input however.
