Picked up my first RL Purple Label piece yesterday -- a long sleeve blue and white striped casual shirt from NMLast Call. I paid, with tax, $75, (it was marked $225), so I guess I got a good deal.

But the shirt is amazing. The cut really flatters my torso, and the fabric is sweet. The thick MOP buttons are flawless -- just a work of art.

What do you all think? Did I get a good deal? Any other fans of RLPL out there?

Is that the linen one? Nice shirt. Made by Lorenzini, I think. Nice MOP buttons are pretty cool when the light catches them just right.

Not linen, just cotton. But a wonderful cotton it is. I feel luxurious in this shirt.

I too got a good deal on a Ralph Lauren Purple Label piece; it is my very first sportcoat, which I payed $116 for at Jeremy's in San Francisco. It is a nice gray, two button coat, with side vents, ticket pocket, and working sleeve buttons (my favorite feature). I have seen their shirts, and I do love their thick mother of pearl buttons.
