I remember the comments of people in a thread that I opened where I asked the opinions of SF members regarding Brooks Brothers Black Fleece Paddock boots.

People mostly commented that these boots have a storm welt and thus not suitable as a dress shoe. They said they would not ever wear those boots with a suit for instance.
The thing is that I know one of the most favorite shoes of SF members is Ralph Lauren's Darlton wingtip, which also has a storm welt.
I was wondering whether you guys wear Darlton wingtip with your suits. And if you normally don't consider storm-welted shoes as dress shoes and don't wear them with a suit, then what makes Darlton wingtips different that you wear them with suits? Not to mention that, being a blucher cordovan shoe with wingtip style adds an extra bulk to the shoes which the Darlton already has due to the storm welt.
