Hi, I am wondering how big of a difference it is between the two fits. Usually I wear Small in Custom Fit but it fits a bit too tight in arms and shoulders so I am thinking about giving the Medium Slim Fit a try. Anyone with experience from both fits? How would the medium Slim fit be compared to the Small Custom Fit?

Why not go to a bricks and mortar shop and try some? That is the best test.

Are you talking about button down dress shirts or sport/polo shirts? As an fyi, i was at the RL mansion last week and was told they are no longer making slim fit dress shirts (polo blue label). The new stock has a new label and fits like the old custom fit shirts but without the custom fit label underneath the tag.

this is incorrect.

They are still offering Custom and Slim fits. The differences between them can be found on the website.

In general, Slim fit is cut trimmer than Custom Fit - you may need to size up.

OP, I hope this helps.

Thank you Viral. Apologies for the confusion. To be clearer i was talking about the dress shirts without the pony on chest. They do have new slim fit styles with the pony which I normally consider sport shirts. The slim fits ones without the pony on the website still have the old label and I suppose this is what the SA was talking about when he mentioned they won't be carrying them anymore. Only sharing the info I got :)
