RL Classic vs. Custom measurements?

Hey guys...

I recently bought a Ralph Lauren (Regent Classic Fit) shirt.
Size : 17(XL), 34/35.
While the label says "classic", it tapers at the waist.
Chest measures around 27"
Waist, 24.5"
Sleeves are a smidge long, but the body fits great.

Is that a typical measurement for their "classic" fit?

What are the chest/waist measurements for classic and custom?
