Can anyone tell me about this brand? Saw a bunch on eBay listed alongside Borrelli and Barba. Nothing turned up in a search of the forum

Isn't Riviera a Canadian brand?

I've got a couple of pairs of made-in-Canada trousers by Riviera, that I bought on sale from Sierra Trading Post a few years ago. The trousers are excellent and were great value for money when on sale from STP, but I've no experience with their shirts (if we're even talking about the same brand, of course).

Edited to add: Here's the STP page for Riviera trousers and jackets: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/riviera~b~18309/

And here's some Riviera stock at forum affiliate eHaberdasher, including shirts, jackets, scarves and sweaters (lots and lots of sweaters):

http://www.ehaberdasher.com/servlet/Categories?$catalog.Oem=Riviera&$catalog.OemId=875973

It could be that the Canadian Riviera and the Riviera at eHaberdasher are two different companies, as the products on STP look quite different from the products on eHaberdasher and the tags on the latter products do specifically say "Riviera Milano".

It is a private label for Barba Napoli, it allow them to reach the middle price market $30 to $40 market without affecting their prime brand. Plus it is a snub to the Northener in Italy to those in the know.
