The world of jazz has lost a giant. I just heard that drummer Bobby Durham passed away today. He accompanied Ella for a long time and played with all of the legends: Ellington, Flanagan, Basie. I'm really fond of the trio work he did with Oscar Peterson. This recording comes to mind:
