I once swore that the only jewlry I'd ever wear would be a wedding band, but I also refused to wear jeans for 16 years, and you can guess how that turned out. Anyway, I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me something about

I saw them in Scout on 3rd St., LA, a looong time ago. They haven't had them in ages and I've asked a couple times about them but they've never been very helpful. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them?

There are only two types of rings acceptable for a man:

1) Wedding band.
2) Superbowl ring.

Those and "guild" (engineer, etc.) are the only unacceptable rings for a man

Those are pretty cool as far as rings go. I couldn't wear them myself.

I wear my grandpa's (who passed away recently) engineering ring on my thumb. When I'm done my degree, I'm going to have it resized and wear it properly.

Excellent choice. I need to replace my steel ring. Iron or steel, btw?

I'm not sure to be honest. According to him, it was one of the originals made from the Brooklynn Bridge.

Ah...if he was an American engineer it would be steel. Ony the Canadian Order of the Engineer issues the wrought iron ring (where the practice originated)

I'm going to be looking into a thumb ring pretty soon. I never wore a ring before, but last night the voices started talking to me. I have to shop to make it quiet again
