    Hi,

Have ordered from Jantzen tailor a few times before in the past, and have been happy with the quality of the shirts. However, I dont think Ive ever got my measuremetns spot on, so the shirts never truly fit how I'd like (my fault not his I think)

Anyway, I had a shirt made by a Saville Row company and it fits like a dream. Obviously it was more expensive though!

What I want to do is send this shirt to Ricky and ask him to keep the measurements on file. At the same time, I want him to copy a shirt with these correct measurements.

If I send these two shirts to him, am I likely to get them back? Is his English good enough to understand what I would be asking him by letter?

    Cheers for any advice

Ricky's english is absolutely fine, in my experience, to understand special requests. I would perhaps call first, to tell him you'd like to do this. I've had a hard time getting ahold of him lately - they seem extremely busy.

yeah I think it should be fine to be honest.

I am in the UK though, so the time difference etc is prohibitive.

He never answers emails, so I will just have to go for it.

I sent Ricky my custom made by another tailor shirt. He returned it folded and pressed on top of my new shirts from him. It was a faster way to get at the shirt I wanted then for me to attempt measurements.

The danger in this is of course, you may never get the bespoke shirt back.
