holly ****! thats ******* Will! I knew he went to NY to do fashion but didn't know this. My tattoo artists for my arm did most his work. where is this picture taken from?
Rick Owens might be the sexiest clothing made for women, and the most ridiculous, laughable clothing ever for men.
I guess you're just paraphrasing the fashion vs. style dichotomy and saying that men's fashion like this is ridiculous, but women's fashion (as style or whatever) is okay?
I don't know if it implies that. Isn't it possible for someone to be good at designing women's clothing but not men's? More specifically, the kind of flowing, drape-y clothing he does is closer to normal women's clothing than men's, so it just looks less "out there."
+1. I don't think he was making any larger statement about fashion v style. He was just noting a fact about a particular designer--namely, that RO drapey men's stuff isn't as flattering as his drapey women's stuff.
Yeah, I sort of thought of this as I was writing what I posted, but I guess I just wanted to call someone out on the whole fashion vs style thing. Either way, I don't really agree with his statement...I certainly wouldn't wear some entire RO looks but a lot of pieces are workable and well made.
