Lucky you all with these nice bespoke shows.

I honestly feel we live in a third world country in the middle of the USA. Bespoke or MTO shows are normally in NY, LA, but rarely elsewhere. I envy all of you who are lucky to have those wonderful shows in your backyard.

Denver to SFO/LAX is only 2:30 hours away. Fly to SF and you can have access to JL SJ, Cleverley, G&G bespokes. Or fly to LA to have access to JL Paris, Cleverley bespokes, not sure about G&G or JL SJ. Given the number of shoes you've collected, it makes so much more sense to fly and get bespoke.

And I am debating between going G&G or fly down to SoCal for JLP bespoke. Only seen JLP, Delos, and D. Gomez executing round toe so elegantly. G&G is still a bit less refined.

I agree, bespoke it is next. It sounds easy to just pack up and fly, but not so. My next half dozen will all be bespoke in 2013!

Well, it IS a motorcycle boot. Elegance is probably not a factor in their creation.

    i actually wanted riccardo
    to make batman's boot
    as drawn by frank miller
    in the dark knight returns...
    ... but he couldn't
    so he made these
    instead

If that was the goal, they're really not that far off from the original!

In fact, the shark is much superior to the slick leather of the Bat's. With all Bruce Wayne's money, he should've gone to Riccardo himself!
