1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I've seen some 1940- 1950's English models with a toecap like that. Very cool.

Gorgeous craftsmanship... and an unmistakably 1940's style. Of course I approve +100,000.

Could we please see a pic from the back so I can get an idea of the heel width?

    waist and heel,
    it perfect.
He put rubber piece right through heel,
many bespoke maker not do that like the rtw,
many maker use full leather heel with rubber moon on bottom

sorry, that heel is too high for me. Combined with the waist and the slim heel, looks too feminine for me.

Nothing wrong with bordering on feminine when you are a raging heterosexual.

I think one would need to see them in person to judge masculine/ feminine. Although he used a narrow heel (ala 1930's), he combines it with a roomy forefoot area (classic 40's- 50's). That narrow heel allows the waist to appear very narrow and elegant... the same effect achieved by 38 inch hips and 24 inch waist. Bestetti puts a lot of thought into the curves of his designs, obviously. Magnificent.
