In the Bay Area I can recommend Menlo -Atherton reweavers
in Menlo Park .They've mended several sweaters for me with excellent
results. A rather eccentric operation owned by a a gorgeous Ukrainian
amazon and staffed by diminutive Filipinas.

I used Without a Trace. They did a great job, and the prices were very reasonable.
