I cannot remember the name of the place. There's a shopping center which is just right above the Central MTR subway station. There are quite a number of shops in there which cater primarily to Filipino maids and there is a Deli' France in there. It's right across the Citibank in Central. On the first floor, there are quite a few of these alteration places who can also do reweaving. I once took a Dolce and Gabbana silk shirt with a small hole to one of the shop there to fix. It's perfectly done and I don't even notice there was a hole there.

You are not referring to Worldwide House, where Jantzen tailor is located, are you?

It certainly sounds like it. It's been 6 months since I was last there and that cacaphony of Philipina maids is still ringing in my ears. Don't go on a Sunday!

Yes, the literal translation from Chinese of the shopping/office complex's name is Worldwide House but I believe the English name is not really "Worldwide House" or is it?

I've had a suit with a small hole in one sleeve reweaved by a Mr Leung on the small lane that runs perpendicular to Pedder st in central, just by one of the Central MTR exits. It cost 120HKD (15USD) and I'd describe it as 'adequate', visible when you look for it, but good enough to allow me to wear the suit again.

Just want to confirm that it is indeed the Worldwide House. Full of Filipinas. Full of Jantzen bags. Good times.
