Hi all.

I'm wanting to get my dad a nice watch for his retirement. Anywhere under $350.

I like this Seiko for $275. It's kind of what I was thinking (price range, style, automatic). Any other ideas?

I know he would probably want some cigars instead, but I think it matters more what I want for him.

Thanks.

I've never really understood the rationale for giving a watch at retirement. So people can watch their life ticking away? When I retire, my watch will be first thing to get shelved.

That sekio imo looks pretty bad.
There are MUCH better seikos on ebay.
