Retaining the form of a suit while in storage

Can a suit lose its shape from long-term storage? The conditions are not an issue.. I keep my suits in breathable garment bags, cedar line and dehumidify my closet (for bug and moisture prevention), brush to uphold the fabric every now and then even when the suit hasn't been worn, and use a proper suit hanger (usually I keep my suits on the hanger they came with or on a suit hanger from The Hanger Project), but I'm wondering if a suit can lose its shape and form just from hanging on the hanger without being used.. I guess it's a silly question, but I'm rather new to having the luxury of wearing a suit to work, and I currently have a few suits from winter that have been hanging up—untouched, for the past 2 months, and probably will be for another 3 months.

No - have you any evidence it does or is this a theoretical question.

I don't think they'll lose the shape by simply hanging in the closet. They lose shape because of wear & tear and the material of the suit.
