mix, atop THEhotel at Mandalay Bay is an excellent restaurant. Pricey. Great views of The Strip from the restaurant and/or the adjacent lounge.

Deals like that are a thing of the past in Vegas. Steve Wynn opened a buffet that cost $8 in the 80s (considered big money for a buffet back then) that had lines out the door proving people would pay more for better food. Thus started the decline and extinction of great food deals in Las Vegas.

Bouchon is a great classic french bistro by tom keller. Also open for lunch which is important because alot of the higher end resturants are closed for lunch.
