You can get it done, but not likely at that price point. From what I've seen, I think $150 is more reasonable...

IIRC B Nelson is $125 for Danite, and that already includes shipping.

This is a bit of a threadjack, but is Dainite good because of the material, or because of the shape of the tread (or both)?

I ask because I picked up some suede J Crew bluchers with pink Dainite-like soles.

in my experience i find dainite wears very well for rubber whilst being grippy

Preferred rubber sole for me at least in the city. Go commando for the countryside. The tread is good for wet city wear. Maybe some light snow, but forget ice. Anyway, far better than leather in slippery conditions. The rubber is not as hard and bends well with your steps. No breaking in required.
