I was just inspired by another thread on the strange and wacky names given to shoe models.
AE, for example, giving us names like Neumok and Cronmok. What were they thinking?! Are they mad or is it pure genius?

It need not be shoes, but let's have some fun and compile here, the names of shoes and other clothing & clothing-related products that you find regal, insane, funny, strange, etc.
Also, if you have any name suggestions to share, post 'em here!

I'll start with some name ideas for future AE shoes:

  • Scansorial
  • Gresello
  • Sapient
  • Deluctabore
  • Scarlatina
  • Geronibus
  • Malevolent
  • Carpelensus
  • Sarcophagus
  • Brindillahobo
  • Arbistratus

Please continue....

Hope so. I am a proud owner of over 30 pairs of AE. We've come up with some good names too, and the night is young...

How about a go at armchair shoe designer?

I'll do some of the geographic ones

Allen Edmonds Compton: AE's take on the classic "Timb" (Timberland). Done in snuff suede with dainite soles. Sleeker last.
Allen Edmonds Mogadishu: Single monk flip-flops, done in distressed Color 8 shell cordovan. Rusty brass buckles and a camp sole.
