Unfortunately my car got broken into and my briefcase was knicked, among a few other things. The bag was my deceased father's old briefcase. I used it almost daily and, although I realize I cannot replace that particular item, it would please me to have something similar looking. it looked a lot like this jacques Georges case. It was also cherry/burgundy.

I think he must have bought it somewhere in new zealand where he resided for the last 15 years of his life. i have no idea of the brand, in fact I looked but never saw anything like a label. It was supposedly 'italian', but that may just have been the leather.

is the case pictured above a good value? Or should I look for something else/better?

Thanks.
