So, I'm reading all over that now it will be death to skinny jeans, in favor of a more relaxed fit. not gangster, down past the ankles loose, but definitely not close to what now. What do you guys think of this? Will you follow it? What should one buy first if they do follow it? I'm thinking right now that I actually like this, but what the hell will I do with my slim stuff? (fortunately I didn't buy an expensive slim suit)

what a stupid thread; buy what looks good on you. Skinny/slim has been around for a long time, and I never plan on changing what I'm developing as my own personal style.

I'm stealing a quote from GS here, but it's true. Slim clothing/suits is a way of life. What is fortunate about this possible trend, is that maybe all the hipsters, and others with the "painted-on jeans" look, will just fade away.

I've been wearing the same silhouette for 20 years....with the fickle nature of "fashion" sometimes I'm "in" and sometimes I'm "out". I prefer the years when I'm not "in" I'm looking forward to this "relaxed trend".

I'm sick of seeing every kid wearing tight jeans and untucked dior clone hi-tops, so relaxed will be nice. As for me, I'll stay the same and keep looking awesome.

i agree, besides around here this whole area. skinny jeans was never really in. unless you count the younger guys wearing womens jeans from american eagle that contain spandex. also their jeans have no break in them what so ever. baggy or super relaxed has always been the style over here. i myself like to just keep one pair of each cut that way i don't get tired of any style.

Big sales on skinnies for those of us who aren't stupid enough to wear bags on our legs? Yes?
