hey guys I'm new here but i've lurked around here from time to time, well a little bit of information about me I am 21 years old turning 22 in February, I'm 5'8 and I'm filipino so im on the brown side

Well right now my closet is full of jeans and a few shirts that are billabong, vulcom, and hurley and some graphic T's. I am feeling like im starting to get to old for those brands, I mean I liek those brands some shirts I bought I like. But I'm thinking I should start dressing a bit more mature etc..So I was wondering if I can get a few pointers on what brands, type of clothing etc... that I should start filling my closet up. I'd like a good brand but not sooo expensive, I would spend 60 for a shirt but not 130 for jeans I hope i'm making sense, I'm sure there are a few brands out there that are well qualified and are also inexpensive. I like to wear dark clothing also, and no im not in the emo or gothic group hehe

Sounds like you are looking for casual wear... Maybe the streetwear forum might be better to look at at first instance? I know it has pretty comprehensive threads about both jeans and casual shirts.

As for myself, I just buy what looks good and feels good. I'm wearing a country road t-shirt at the moment, and if you're looking for a cheaper pair of jeans I quite like the way Just Jeans jeans fit on me (and I have a pair that have lasted pretty well). There are a lot of AA and Uniqlo fans out there, and H&M might have a few good purchases.

What are you hoping to end up with? Suits & ties or more casual?

Let us know what country you are in so we can better recommend some stores.

All the best ...

Phase,

look around at some of the threads on the brands that most SF'ers like. I'm a shoe guy myself, and I would start with a few staple items, sucha s shirts, trousers, and get a few nice pairs of shoes to mix it up. Try ebay, and the buy/sell forum! Welcome!
