I purchased a gift for a friend (via Grailed and Paypal) and the seller shipped the goods from Florida to Asia. It turned out the seller shipped shoes in the wrong size. It was clearly the seller's fault because I confirmed the size before he shipped, and he confirmed the size without looking at the actual item he was shipping. This is all in writing, and the size stated in the listing is clearly different from the size on what was actually shipped.
I raised a Paypal dispute which was decided in my favor and Paypal says to ship the item back to Florida before they refund. The problem is, shipping across the world is expensive and Paypal is not making the seller pay return shipping despite admitting it was his fault.
Apologies as I'm not sure which forum to post in, but does anyone know how to get reimbursed for shipping? I have had bad experiences with Paypal's dispute system and it often defies common sense.
