Hi All - Wanted to get a grey long sleeve shirt from RC and was considering these two

I prefer thicker fabrics for my t-shirts (live in ~30C weather) and usually wear an M for most other brands with chest size 41

Which fabric and sizing would you recommend?

Thanks!

30C is pretty warm! If you really mean 30C the terry will be too warm. The second is a technical fabric with more stretch so it is a very different looking T-shirt.
RC in my experience runs on the slim side of TTS so it depends on the look you’re going for. Medium for a snug/trim look, large for a more relaxed look. Personally I’d suggest a large for the terry.

Seconded on the slim fit- I wear a 42-slim 44 chest and my RC tee is an XL.

Thanks guys so sounds like an L for me

Which fabric resembles a heavy cotton tee the best in weight and thickness? RC guys suggested the lightweight terry but I wanted to check with you guys as well.

I haven't handled the copper jersey myself. It looks more technical. The lightweight terry is somewhere between a T-shirt and sweatshirt in weight. i personally would find it too warm above 20C.
Honestly as much as I like RC for their sweatshirts and hoodies, for what you are looking for I'd look elsewhere. American Giant, 3Sixteen, Lady White, Velva Sheen, Dehen all make good heavyweight T-shirts. If you're really interested in the RC I'd suggest the lightweight terry between the two choices you posted, but I think it's better suited to cooler temperatures.

Thanks. I am just looking for a somewhat slim fitting grey shirt with long sleeves and everyone on the internet seems to be suggesting RC. I am just going with the recommendations. Will look into these brands as well.

My only requirement is that the fabric should be somewhat thick. Not a fan of thin t-shirts.

Thanks for the help!
