Regular Cut Shirt

Most of the shirts I buy have a European cut (slimmer), but am looking for something with a little bit more room. Sometimes I feel constricted in the European cut so I wanted something a little looser.

Any suggestions for designers that make that kind of shirt? (Buttowndown)

from my experience Canali shirts have more generous cut (unless they've changed it recently)

I find canali to be a slimmer cut shirt, same with lorenzini, and borrelli. If looking for a roomier shirt i would suggest Robert Talbott, Ike Behar, Brooks Brother, Etc. for a larger shirt. Generally the american shirts are sized larger. You could always do custom depending on what you want to pay.

How big do you need?

Am shirts are huge, at least for my body. I am 15.5/34. A BB shirt in this size will have a chest measure of 50, which is 10 inches larger than my own. My pref is for an allowance of only 4 or 5 inches, so I seek slim stuff or get shirts darted.

The only standard shirt even larger than BB is RT, as mentioned above. Thomas Pink runs pretty large as well, at least in the US.

Wow...I would not call Lorenzini or Borrelli slim cut, and I am not a slim guy. Those brands are both known for a broader cut in the waist.

I was actually going to suggest Lorenzini for a fuller cut than the 'typical European' style. Borrelli is nice, but they cut the shoulders very big on shirts with the right neck size, limiting usefulness to me.
