I will be posting. It's really nice to have such stylish and cool clients.
First fitting on a new suit for a repeat client. He has commissioned one suit before and this is his first fitting on the second. We had a bit of trouble first time round with a very drop shoulder on the right but this time we have amended his pattern and we have a rather text book fitting. Next time I think I will go straight to finish. Bespoke gets easier and easier if you stick with it.
Love it. Any pic of the back too?
There's only two things I would change about the fit of that if it were mine and I suspect it is somewhat personal preference. First off I it is too short for my taste, second, I like the collar and around the neck to be more snug. What would one call this adjustment? Decreasing the neck opening and crooking the shoulder point?
Yeah he wanted a shorter jacket, somewhere between his more "conservative" Reeves and a rather short Jil Sander.
I would call it decreasing the neck circle.
The only things I am doing on this are tightening up the crotch a touch, taking in the trouser waist in a short run about 1/2" and then giving it a good press, oh yeah and putting on the pocket flaps.
Back looks great, he's picking it up Thursday night I think so I will post pictures of the back then.

Got the first Molloy and Sons tweed in just before finishing work today. Will post at some point tomorrow.......its red by the way.
Molloy and Sons Tweed.
Looks good, I was thinking of doing a purple donegal jacket. I caught a bunch of grief in the 'unfunded liabilities' thread.
If it's a dark eggplant color, it would look quite good. The Molloy one above is not to my taste at all. Very Joker-ish.
I think if that colour were in a worsted, it would definitely be Joker-esque, but I like it as a tweed.
Are you reading it as purple? Its Red.
Are you running the same promotion as last year (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15)?
Not this year. Will probably do something with gift cards over the holidays and potentially an offer with the George society in November.
Thanks for the quick reply. Sounds like you haven't confirmed it with the Society yet, but do you have any idea what that offer might look like?
Interested in a full-length overcoat.
