Interesting, so it isn't a matter of just extending the pattern more towards the center line? Kind of like extending the lapels closer to the center and adjusting the location of the roll line?

No because you have that anchor point of the neck at which the coat hangs on. Does that make sense? I am decreasing the neck circle a touch though and this will draw the coat in a little more.

You are also seeing a lower button fastening on this one, which will show more shirt but I am content with where it is in relation to the whole coat.

decreasing the neck circle, does that essentially "straighten" the neck point?

If the neck circle is too big the collar will stand off. The whole garment should hug and hang from the neck and shoulders.

William Halstead makes a 100% mohair. I have a suit made in it.

The fabric is not stiff at all. In fact, it resembles more a worsted in its dryness and stiffness.

They only make it in a dark navy which looks black. I suspect it's intended for tuxedos.

Do you experience with Scabal's Cannes fabric? Silk, linen and mohair blend.

Never used it, not sure I like the look of it for some reason. What do you think?

I haven't handled it but from photos it seems to have a slubby quality which I like.

I want something light but still structured for a summer suit so this seemed ideal.

Just not feeling it in person for some reason, I should just make something up and see how it is.

I have seen mohair/wool blend for navy tuxedo, though it appear a bit too "casual" when you zoom in on it (no one will tell at any reasonable distance though).
