Red Wing Iron Rangers VS. Wolverine 1000 mile boots

Im interested in buying one of these two boots but cant decide on which ones better. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?Why one is better over the other? (Durability, Comfort, etc.)

I think it really comes down to your style preference. They are both well made, high quality boots made with top notch materials by outstanding companies. The RW's are an oiled leather so they won't shine up like the Wolverine's.

Personally, I opted for the Iron Rangers (see my avatar). Again, that was my style preference. If one strikes you more than the other, you can't go wrong with either in terms of quality materials and craftsmanship.

Yeah, they're just different designs. I've never liked the Wolverines, personally.

. I'm actually leaning more to the style of the Wolverines. Which leads me to another predicament now I can't decide between the Wolverines or the Red Wing Heritage Beckman. Do any of you know which sole will last longer, that is the rubber/leather sole of the Beckmans or the leather sole of the 1000s?

rubber/leather, but you can always get rubber topy half sole glued onto plain leather soles

I think they are both high quality boots, but are different styles. The 1000 Mile is a dressier boot than the Iron Ranger, but they are both quality products. Just different, along the lines of a high quality SUV vs a high quality sedan. Both great, but different products.
