Red Wing Iron Ranger Boots - what's the dilly yo?

Has anyone seen the new Iron Rangers for Crew? I like the mini lug soles. And the leather looks different.

^^ I like the soles a lot on those made for J Crew Rangers. Don't care for the leather color as much as amber harness though. Still, great looking boots!!

Yes the sole and leather look like the sole and leather from the Gentleman Traveler line. A little more dressy!

Anyone pick up a pair of 8116 charcoal iron rangers? Thoughts?

I love my 8111's and have been considering picking up a pair of 8114's, but these have caught my eye. Liking how it's already somewhat distressed/rugged instead of the smoother black leather.

Seeing the new jcrew version made me forget how much i like the exclusive brooks brothers version

if you end up purchasing please post lots of pics. ive never seen in any brick and mortar brooks brothers stores so itd be nice to get some real photos of them

I'd go .5 size down to wear with thick socks.

That said these are amazing boots that are impossible to wear because the last is so messed up.
I'm as normal a 11D as you'll find (or so shoe salesmen have told me), size 10 too tight, size 10.5 a bit too loose and the narrow mid-foot makes even a normal walker like me pronate.
Really frustrating boot.

These look pretty nice! Wonder what the leather is. Almost looks lime CXL, though I don't think RW uses it. Not sure though..
