I just ordered a pair in black cherry for 161 on endless. Now I'm eyeing these laces as upgrades but I'm not sure exactly how they'll look in that color. I'll post photos if I end up getting the laces.

Am I missing something? Coupon code? They are listed at $231

Search for "shoes" in Bing cashback for the endless.com link. Should take 60 days to receive the 30% rebate. You will see the cashback sign on the website itself during check-out.

In case anyone is on the fence about these, I've been wearing mine for 3 weeks and am about ready to buy another pair as back up, in case they are ever discontinued! It took a few days to break these in, but they are so comfortable now! They really do feel like sneakers, but with much better support!

Nice, got them in the mail today and swapped out the laces for leather ones from some Sperry boat shoes. I only have 10.5 New Balance sneakers for reference, but these were 9.5 and fit well. If I bought size 10 the toe would feel a little long. Still looking for a good pair of jeans or pants to work with them though. Smells like black cherries [IMG] [IMG]

What am I doing wrong in polishing? I have quite a bit of black around the toes on my 9105s, and the same has started on my cherry GTs. It seems to happen where they are scuffed, but not really sure how to avoid it.

I clean with a brush, use lexol conditioner, then use burgandy paste or neutral wax polish on both pairs (they are similar in colour). The black, once there, never seems to go away.

I think I'm finally almost done with the break-in on my GTs. The final feat was a two mile walk in about 4 inches of snow. The boots performed flawlessly, kept me warm and dry. Now I wish I got the other ones in waterproof leather as well..damn.

just put some snoseal on them.

i been marching through a tundra for past few days, gotta say these boots are pretty resilient. i feel there is a lot of room up front but if i sized down another 1/2 it would be too small. i'm gonna start wearing thicker socks it's too cold out

Thanks for the tip. I have never seen this response when people are talking about jeans/boots/other leather goods. I mean, it is not like I have been a member here since 06, and sufu longer.

I have a specific problem, a product/process I am using seems to be causing it.
