I bought this to try on my new Munson boots...I'm trusting you lol
All the reviews on Amazon were very positive

Here are the pics, consider the Beckman's have a different type of leather.

Bick 4 for conditioning then Red Wing boot cream.

Great pics of great boots. The shine on the Beckman leather looks good, but I wonder if they would work in combination with Oro or Briar? I assume not as they are very different finishes.

According to the site and the info on the tongue of the boot it the 9016 Cigar Featherstone. But it does look a bit more lighter than in the picture Red Wing has on the site.

The Cigar are the same as the color in your picture. I've heard the color was changed to make more of a difference with the Black Cherry.

What's your take on the 2996 "Lineman" boots? An acquired taste or outright fugly?
I like them bc they are unique. But they'd take some wear n tear and the right jeans to work daily and not standout.

I for one love the lace-to-toe style. Would've bought those if the last would fit my feet any better. I have black cxl Thorogood Roofers (very similiar) and Navy shell Tricker's monkey boots (sleeker), wouldn't mind having a brown pair too.

I'm loving my new Red Wings, purchased at a steep discount from Nordstrom Rack.

The Roughnecks Nice! I picked up a pair of Wolverine Duvall CXL with vibrams at a steep discount from the Rack.

Just got a pair of Blacksmith 2nds in Charcoal from STP. Couldn't believe how comfortable they were out of the box. Didn't really find anything to make them seconds, other than a crease on one that looks like they may have been stored incorrectly.

I'll post some pics and comparisons to my Frye's (Arkansas Brogue) soon. Not sure if I have to hit a post limit first. I got a 9 which is the same size as my Frye boots. My Nike size is 11, most dress shoes are 9-9.5.

Here's a little project I've been working on. I cut these Red Wing 6" "roughout" mocs into oxfords, finished the cut edge with some veg tan, and wore them for about 6 months. The light colored roughout doesn't really look all that great as it gets worn so I gave them a coat of mink oil (last pic) to see if that would make any difference. It's hard to see here, but it darkened them quite a bit and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Looking forward to seeing how they look in another 6 months.
