    I have a question.

My pair of 8131 is so similar to the 875 in terms of color and design.

    What are actually the difference?

dmagicn its because you didn't ask the question in the right thread and just made a new one most likely.

looks like its just the color it can be deceptive depending on your monitor/color settings and the website photography you are viewing. but pretty sure its definitely color.

Here's a quick shot of the new 877 as I know some were wondering. The color is awesome IMO and was exactly what I was looking for in my 'beat to s***' boots :D

BTW.....I got an 8.5D and an 8D. I'm keeping the 8.5D. If anybody wants the 8D for the $210 that I paid I'll give you the exact same price. They are brand new in box, 1st quality, retail for $280 right now. Let me know, as otherwise they're going back tomorrow morning.

The majority of the stuff I sell nowadays is actually for my roommates/friends. I keep pretty much everything I buy for myself nowadays.............learned the hard way and lost a lot of $$$ though :(

Anywho, these are great boots..........I don't really do the whole 'workwear' vibe, but I needed a solid tan/brown boot and these fit the bill perfectly. I don't have a 'normal' 877 to compare it to directly but the oro-legacy leather is VERY nice in person.

And here are two quick cell phone shots of the new 875. Just got them today. The Oro-legacy leather is beautiful and I like the fact that there's no Red Wing logo stamp. In real life the color of the leather is a little less orange and a little more red -- Dmash's 877's look a little truer to the color. I put these laces on, btw, the ones that come with the boots are the usual yellow/orange hiking boot ones.

^Yeah, I was also very happy there was no exterior red wing stamp, forgot to mention that. and yeah, just to reiterate, the 'orangey' hue is at a minimum in real life. That was my exact worry upon ordering.

Haha, naw man, they're good for what I needed them for, pretty much a bad weather boot.

I got a pair of navy suede tassel loafs today to make up for it :fistbump:

Dmash, you don't need to apologize for, justify, or atone for your sins. People can either come into this thread and post something worthwhile or not.

There's worse sins than buying a new pair of boots. TASSEK LOAFERS for example. ;)

Looking good. I really like the tone of the leather. Worth it! I'm looking forward to the times when I can bring out the 8881s again (although, up to like 32°c they're fine).

I go through Baker's Boots because Kyle has always been good to me. I really recommend going through them.

Zappo's has the new 875 in stock and the retail looks to be $250.
