So did you ever figure out if those wedges were "painted" so you could get them nice and clean?

If you don't know about Compeed patches, you might want to get some. Its sold by Band-Aid Brand, usually at a drug store or grocery store next the regular band-aids. Its the best stuff for covering blisters while they heal. You can leave it on for a few days at a time. Awesome stuff.

Goddamn Ryan Gosling is killing it in those hole-less and perfect condition RW boots.

Well, he's really bothered about a tiny hole on the tongue and color irregularities on a pair of work boots. And Ryan Gosling. But to each his own right.

I'm generally a fan of moleskin. I used it growing up while hiking and climbing mountains, and it works wonderfully. In truth, the link that I sent isn't exactly what I'd buy, as I dislike the moleskin with padding (just too much going on), and instead get the regular moleskin (still provides some padding and transfers any friction away from the blister/sore). Additionally, instead of buying pre-cut bandaid shaped pieces of moleskin, you can buy it in squares that you can cut to size. Very helpful when you have different sized/shaped blisters in more difficult areas (between toes, on top of toes, under ankle bone, etc). They sell the stuff at just about every pharmacy/drug store I've been to all over the world, and it's cheap, too.

    Good luck!

Is it even possible to keep these type of leathers looking mint?

Walk like a duck to prevent creasing the toe box?

If you keep them in the shoe box, they'll forever look great. No scratches or stretch marks whatsoever.

Hello gentlemen! Quick question concerning sizing: If I wear a 7.5 in a round toe Beckman and an 8 in a Clarks dessert boot, what size would I be in a 6 inch Heritage moc toe? Thank you in advance!

Most likely just at a Red Wing store. I think Amazon has the wide sizes at times. Keep in mind only some models come in wide widths.

Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find is while searching this thread.

Just got my first pair of Red Wings - Munson boots for J. Crew. Do you recommend any protective creams/waxes? Or are they good to go out of the box, with normal care after some wear-and-tear?

    Any insights are appreciated.

Obenhauf LP is the most widely recommended.

Do the Red Wing Munson boots fit True to Size or do they run large?

Only some styles come in wide. I wear the 3141 in wide. But the leather does stretch out, so after a year of wearing, now the boots feel a bit too loose, so something you might want to keep in mind. I sorta wish now I went with the regular width.
