For sale is a pair of Red Wing Heritage 9111 boots, size 9, made in the USA, These have only been worn about 4 times, never in wet weather. The insoles I use were taken out each night, they were allowed to air out at room temperature. They've been treated once with beeswax and lanolin. The outer edges of the outsoles are very clean.
There is only the normal cosmetic wear you'd expect (light scuffs, creasing from being worn) and one tiny shallow nick in the leather (a millimeter or less wide) which you'd have to look very hard to find.
What else can I say? They're beautiful work boots, the crepe soles are comfy and quiet as all get out, the first few days break-in period have been taken care of and they're the first pair of footwear I've been complemented on by a complete stranger. Pictures are included in this post. I will sell these shipped for $170 in the CONUS and Canada. If that's a bit much for you, I've looked around online and they seem to be retailing for $220-$240 right about now. Want to make me a reasonable offer (bearing in mind that these are practically new and heavy to ship)? Let me know.
A note about size: I'm only selling these because they're too big for my feet. My experience with them is that in all other footwear (shoes, sneakers) I take a 9D (Medium). Unless you have wide feet or wear very thick socks or like your footwear roomy, I would recommend these to anyone who normally wears a size 10, minimum size 9.5 in most shoes, or someone who's planning to wear really thick socks with them. I'm wearing a size 8 of them now, and they fit me much better. For most, I'd say these 9111s run about one size large. Any questions? Send me a PM!
