On my phone, they both look about the same.
Personally, I prefer darker reds. If one of those is darker, that’s the one that would get my vote.

I have been looking for a red/burgundy tie and narrowed it down to 2 ties. I like this grenadine tie, but am not sure if it's too red compared to this more burgundy tie.

'too' red is relative, but if you want a darker tie I think I'd opt for the latter. I have some 'medium' red ties in my collection and they do become a little tricky to start pairing, while a burgundy just slots in more seamlessly.

The photo of that grenadine tie looks really saturated. Not sure that's how it would look in person.

I have burgundy grenadine and burgundy plain from Shibumi and like both.

I liked brighter reds as a younger man....follies of youth.

Personally opinion: It depend on your suit color, bright suit for burgundy tie, dark color suit need grenadine tie

I’d go for the grenadine one because of the more interesting texture
