Recreating brand patterns

I need brand patterns. Any thoughts?

Questions:
1) How much variation, on average, is there in a 40 Regular from Paul Smith to Brooks Brothers to Hugo Boss? Is there a noticeable difference? Estimated number of inches in which areas?

2) How can I get either the body measurements or suit sizes for the standard sizes for different brand (or just Brooks Brothers)?

3) What is the best way to capture enough information on the different suit (and shirt) sizes across the industry (besides purchasing all the garments and grading them)? It doesn't have to be as detailed as an actual grading - a standard set of measurements as a tailor would take them would be enough.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Ebay will have some suits that you're looking for and most sellers will list the measuremenrts.
