Recommendations for presents for Law School Graduate

One of my friends from college is just finishing up Law School and I'm looking to get him something as a graduation present. There seem to be a lot of lawyers here so I'm looking for advice. Anything in particular that would be good for a lawyer who is just starting out?

Other than that, he'll need to pass the bar exam. So, a gift certificate or two for bar books would be helpful. If he already has those, then get him some decent booze. Those are my preferences anyway.

Get him something not law-related. He'll be deluged, now and in the future, with well-intentioned law-related crap. I like the booze suggestion. A nice bottle of scotch or wine or whatever he drinks would be appropriate, and undoubtedly appreciated. If he has studying for the bar exam ahead of him, maybe tickets to (concert/ballgame/opera/whatever he likes) - something that will force him out of the stress zone for a little while.
Or, if he's one of those friends you secretly despise, buy him a Wii and screw his chances for passing the bar.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm just going to go with booze. I know he appreciates a good drink so thats a safe bet. Pens, bags, and implements of torture are just so personal a choice that I figure I'll let him fill those needs on his own.
