Hey,

After moving to Northern California, I've noticed that my fingers are falling off from the cold. I'm from Florida, so I'm not used to spending time in this colder weather. Does anyone have recommendations for gloves to wear in SF weather? I'm looking for something <$100, <$75 if possible. Is the weather here suitable for leather or should i try looking for another material?

Thanks!

I was in the same boat as you a little while ago. Originally from South Carolina, then moved to Southwest Virginia. It's my opinion that gloves can be made of any material you like, so long as they fit your style. It's not like you live in Antarctica.

Ralph Lauren has a bunch of gloves in various materials on sale, almost all of them under $70. I'm partial to the signature merino glove.
Filson has a nice selection as well; again, I like the merino wool gloves.
Also, I tried on some cashmere-lined leather gloves from Target a while back. They were pretty decent for the $30 pricetag.
