Recommendations for Baseball Jackets?

I am looking for a new light-weight jacket for spring, and I think I might go with a baseball-like jacket. Has anyone seen any nice ones? Band of Outsiders had one made with brown suede which I liked, but $1540 is a bit out of my price range.

I like this one, except for the shawl collar.

Thanks for the help.

I love the band of outsiders one and the new ToJ one, but suede is extremely limiting. Personally, I'd have to be very careful, always, and no rain. Really wish they did a more classic one sans suede.

What other materials could be used? I am up for any possibility.

It's a spring summer realease so I think suede is a nice touch and suede jackets are "classic" as well. Besides that's what umbrellas are for. ToJ and BoO also have "classic" leathers variations.

Check the ToJ thread and read the last few pages. Lamb leather is an alternative for some of the suede variations of the new releases.

there's a reason suede rhymes with laid.

There is a pretty sweet Lanvin Suede/Wool Baseball jacket at my local nordstrom rack, for around 1200 I think... down from like 3500... Anyway, if you want to be a baller!

don't get me wrong, I love suede, but it is the leather of the man that has everything else. If I had 4 or 5 leathers, I'd totally get a suede, and suede fits perfectly with this style too. But for me, at this point (and this goes for the vast majority of people), suede is impractical.
Here's an option http://www.forwardforward.com/fwd/Di...duct=BAND-MO22 H (horribly over priced, could get a ToJ suede for cheaper)

Though I prefer leather or wool or soft cotton.

Also, this: http://www.barneys.com/Club-Jacket/5...efault,pd.html is excellent, but yet again, suede. I envy those that can buy suede.

IMO, TOJ baseball jacket > BOO baseball jacket, both suede and cotton

I just got the TOJ bb, will post pics when it arrives, which may not be for a while
