Check tonik mohair range. They have some distinctive sheen.

BTW I have a gray from the Dormieul Ice book that may be the shade you are looking for. But the steely sheen comes from some mohair. It is soft, not crispy like Tonik.
I must find cheaper sources.
Are you guys willing to try non famous brands?
