Recommendation for small messenger/manbag

For the weekend. When I go to work I have a regular man-tote type bag that carries whatever I need and more, but I'm looking for some smaller and more casual (not too casual though, e.g. timbuk2) for the weekend. All I need for it to hold is my wallet, phone, and keys. I know some would suggest pockets but I hate putting stuff in my back pockets and my walletphonekeys don't fit nicely into 2 front pockets.

Budget... maybe $100 to $200? I'd be willing to go a little higher if there's something /really/ pretty.

I have one of these and use it for pretty much the same thing you intend to do. Mine is dark tobacco brown.

What you are looking for in size is equivalent to a purse. A masculine man does not carry a purse,
he uses his pockets or a rugged bag of sorts. Just my $0.02 worth.

Good lord... I thought we'd finally moved beyond this as a culture and as a forum. Besides, he's in Asia, which isn't as scared as we are about men carrying accessories. Anyway, check out this thread: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=115841

If you want to carry a purse, fine. But you can't be serious as to think all men will like it just because it's what you personally like. With regard to purses, what you call 'move beyond' I call 'decline of masculinism' and the deliberate disrespect & destruction of menswear.
I don't support it. The majority of men will also not support it. Just take one look on the street.
I respect your enjoyment of mens purses. Hell, wear a dress with it too if it pleases you.
Just don't expect every man to do it with you, or approve of it for themselves.
Seriously, you had to expect some resistance to 'man purses' or 'Murses'.
This whole thread should have been in the 'Streetwear & Denim' section anyway.

All the men I know who don't like putting things in their pockets wear too-tight pants.

I see now why so many other members have you on Ignore. Probably a good idea.

Are you a homosexual? I don't care if you are, but for the sake of clarification, are you?
If so, put it in your signature so everyone will know that your advice is the advice of a homosexual.
Seriously. instead of trying to influence heterosexual males to carry purses.
If you are gay and proud of it, then put it in your signature.

Enjoy your last few hours around here, Manly man. The days when douchebags like you get to sling your big I-dick around and post stupid **** like this have long since passed. You were bad enough on the Roman Polanski thread, now you're just caricature. Besides, did you READ my signature?

LOL. I've been using some kind of bag, messenger, purse, possibles bag or whatever you want to call it for decades. It's something that men have used for centuries. Get over your weird preconceived notions and ideas of how and what defines masculinity.
