Recommend some loafer socks

I like the no-sock look but hate not actually wearing socks. So this begets the use of loafer socks. I have some from Banana Republic that work alright, though they don't absorb much moisture.

Does anyone have any other loafer sock recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Great question, I have a pair of white Jack Purcells that would really benefit from this look. Your post inspired me to do a quick search. Here are some options: http://www.bananarepublic.com/browse...865&pid=291638 --the BR option. http://www.comfilon.com/catalogopsocks.asp --cheap but they probably have the same thinness problem as the BR socks. http://www.zappos.com/n/es/d/7226685...e/1/bar/1.html --some of these look thick enough, but some material may still show. http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=1044922 --another huge page of options. And as always, some people recommend just using powder. But what I would like to see is a relatively thick "true" loafer sock, intead of just a no-show. Maybe just cutting off a portion of the fabric?

STP occasionally carries some. Don't know the brand, but they're nude in color and come on a cardboard form. The instep is a little low for the loafers I typically wear (Weston 180's), but they seem as absorbent to me as dress socks.

Essentially any sporting goods store will have no show socks also GAP, Old Navy, et cetera.

Good suggestions thanks. The J&M look like they might be what I'm looking for. Possibly a little thicker than the BR socks.

There's a world of difference between "no-show" and loafer socks. Only one is truly fitting of the name.

I have the socks you're referring to, but I wear mine with my Nikes and low-rise All Stars. The "no sock" look with loafers is just what it says.
